As many people know Jaclyn St James is always around in one way or another! For over ten years Ms. St James has been known as the Wilton Manors Sweetheart, Hunters Disco Diva, Mama James, the Mouth, and so many other names that has been given to her! Jaclyn says, "no matter what they call me I go on, as long as they are talking about me good or bad, I am still here!"
Jaclyn has been in the works for sometime, working on a project she started many years ago called Rant and Raves. This started as a YouTube show she did where she rated her experiences with in select businesses in the Wilton Manors area. The show was good and she rated many different businesses such as Humpy's Pizza, Nuts about Yogurt, Bona Italian, Buon Italia, Boom, Eat, and many others.
This time around Jaclyn has a team and we are spear heading with Jack/ Lynn Magazine as an outlet with the help of social media and they are bringing back the concept of her show into a written column! Each month a selected restaurant will be featured in the magazine which you guessed it by the name is her business which is a monthly online publication directed towards the LGBTQ community! This time around Jaclyn will be rating each business with a Golden Fork Rating of 1-5 Forks. Her team will check out local businesses in not only Wilton Manors but surrounding businesses in the area. Rating on cleanliness, food quality, decor, customer service and so much more. Jaclyn has been known for her mouth at times and feels since everyone thinks she has one now is the time to use it for a good purpose. To bring you the what to expect, the next time you head out. " I am not afraid of my community and what they might say, its my opinion and everyone's opinion matters. I am doing this as a help to my fellow business owners so they can get a reaction to what their customer has of their place of business", said Jaclyn. "I work my day job in a place where the owner just couldn't care less how a customer feels and its really sad. I for one love and have concern for my clients as well as my employees." As you can see this is why Jaclyn St James is Wilton Manors Sweetheart! She cares and tries to promote business for the small business owner and to raise the standards of her town! Who could fault her for that!
Jaclyn has said she does plan on several restaurants in the area such as one she just started with, the Bahama Breeze which just opened in Oakland Park, Mind Your Manors, Siam Cuisine, Dolce Salato, The Grille, Burgers and Beers and Wolsen Cafe, to name a few.
